For 10 years, Style Birmingham has continued to grow as one of Birmingham’s leading editorial platforms. Keen to instil longevity and further set the brand apart from competition, we were tasked with developing a strategic and creative direction relevant for a tech savvy audience.
We wanted Style Birmingham to represent a vibrant and fresh demographic of intellectual young inner-city professionals with a passion for style. Understanding the audience enabled us to move the platform towards an 'always on' approach, creating weekly online content to ensure readers have the best up-to-the-minute news from around the city. Accompanying this, a biannual print magazine serves as a seasonal mark in time, distributed for free across the city.
Taking a mobile first approach, all content made in-house is distributed across owned platforms and social media to allow for maximum coverage and engagement.
As well as a newly designed website at stylebham.com, the Style Insider e-newsletter reaches an additional audience of 27,000+ subscribers with exclusive articles and reader offers. Since relaunching in early 2018, sign-ups have continued to grow weekly, fulfilling the demand for tailored content segmented for a variety of reader interests.
